Aftercare Instructions

Proper aftercare is essential to ensure that your tattoo heals correctly. It is important to keep the area clean. Wash your tattoo twice a day during the healing process—be careful not to overdo it. Use warm water & mild, unscented soap (Dove unscented soap bar recommended), and wash the area gently with your hands. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry with a clean towel. Avoid direct sunlight, soaking in water, and also avoid tight clothing for the first 2-3 weeks. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Moisturise

After you’ve washed your tattoo, use clean hands to apply a small amount of fragrance-free lotion or ointment. Repeat this step 2-3 times daily for the first week or two of healing
Dont pick at it
Resist the urge to scratch and pick at your tattoo, doing this can cause damage and infection and permanent damage to the tattoo.

Keep it out of the sun

UV rays can cause fading, so keep your new tattoo out of direct sunlight for at least the first few weeks of healing. Once it’s healed, apply sunscreen when you spend extended periods outdoors.
No pools & dont soak it in the tub
The combination of heat and bacteria in these environments can lead to an infection, so it’s best to steer clear until your tattoo is completely healed (which usually takes 4-6 weeks).
Be patient

The healing process for a tattoo can take up to 2-3 weeks, sometime more. During this time, it is important to continue to keep the area clean and moisturized. You may experience some itching and peeling, which is normal. Avoid scratching or picking at the area to prevent infection. If you notice any signs of infection, such as redness, swelling, or discharge, please contact us immediately.
